1/15/21 If you research the relationships between stereotyping and film genre there is no clear definition. When we watch a action movie say for instance an Avengers film we see that in the beginning there is always someone doing some sort of shady activity that makes you think highly suspicious of them. filmmakers use this in the opening scene to develop ideas in the minds of the audience and to make the audience develop an expectation of what is going on in the film and what is about to happen. social groups are also represented in action films in terms of good and evil rich and middle class being similar. For example, in the heroes of the NBC action/fantasy series, we saw a poor woman named Nicki Sanders who worked hard to pay the bills and tuition for her son Micah so she goes to the rich mobster "Mr. Lindeman" and she is in debt and he sends his men after her and she ends up becoming a killer due to the manifestation of her powers and a case of multiple personality d

the green screen  today I decided upon doing an action film. I feel like the intended audience is meant to be people who enjoy life and aren't scared to take risks, people who just decide without making a big deal out of things. the setting and location of this film should be on top of a building. as realistic as this may sound i decided to do research on green screen technology that filmmakers use to create a background that they cannot create manually. according to https://infocusfilmschool.com/filming-green-screen-guide/#:~:text=Green%20screen%20basically%20lets%20you,the%20subject%2Factor%2Fpresenter. " Green screen basically lets you drop in whatever background images you want behind the actors and/or foreground. It’s used in film production (and also in news and weather reports) to relatively simply place the desired background behind the subject/actor/presenter. "

how do i create meaning Today, I researched how does the opening sequence of a film create meaning .  According to  https://booksite.elsevier.com/samplechapters/9780240814193/02~Chapter_1.pdf  opening sequences create suspense and mystery  and it prepares the audience for what is upcoming in the film.  The opening scene also sometimes gives credits to all the contributors in the production of the film.   Opening  credits usually go in a specific order. according to  https://www.masterclass.com/articles/how-to-order-movie-credits  " Credits play at the beginning and end of nearly every film. The opening credits inform the audience which studios or production companies were involved in making the film, and they run the names of the major stars in the cast. The end credits, which appear after the final scene of a film, list everyon e involved in the production. "
