experiences, changes & bloopers 2/20/21 while filming this week I found it very fascinating how apps can naturally apply effects and filters to images and videos. while we were making our film we made several changes. the first major change we made was to our script. initially our script was shot and it told the audience a bit of background and it made them wonder and created suspense but because the script didn't meet the necessary criteria so we had to make a little tweaking. the second major change was to the filming, initially we weren't planning on filming per se but doing still image animations. it was easier and it was less challenging so the change was necessary it gave us actual film  making experiences. while filming there were a few mistakes but i deleted them.
1/19/21 influences & difficulties the production of the film was formatted from the story of Spiderman, the amazing Spiderman. the story of Eduardo and how he got his powers was inspired from Spiderman's storyline the boy, Peter Parker a boy who was bitten by radioactive spiders and her later had powers and abilities similar to that of spiders. when we started filming it was Eduardo's story was similar with a major twist of morality and character line but shorter. while making the film we had difficulties creating meaning through mise en scene and cinematography so my group had to change our film from a still image animation to a film where we filmed the footage and used a filter to create an animated effect.
Filming  2/18/21 my group designed a filming schedule starting with our voice and sound recording. I used the voice recorder & audio recorder app on the utilities section on my phone to record the dialogue among the characters and sound effects. in terms of filming, my group original intended on doing a still image animation which involves drawings, so we wasted 2 whole days doing a wide range of drawings from the establishing shot to almost halfway in the film.  2/19/21  we started filing using my phone camera in the late evening to when it gets dark outside. Because we changed plans on our animation process we used an app called clip2comic to filter the original video into a form of cartoon. originally my group went on YouTube to find out how to make animations,  “How to Make an Animation: Simple but Effective.” Youtube.com , www.youtube.com/watch?v=5kAN7yw7Qfg. the video said it was simple but effective and it seemed a little simple but honestly it was quite complicated. 2/10/21 production and filming schedule in our film we contemplated when to do our film based on the criteria to be met and when to do the different steps. we decided to start filming on the week of February 16, 2021 we decided to start our drawing last because it is the most difficult step it persists of lots of concentration focus and a period of dedication. before that we decided to do the easier steps the voice recording on the 16th to the 17th it will include the dialogue recordings and selecting sound effects to use in the background. after we completed both the voice recordings and the drawings we can combine them all into one collage shot by shot, picture by picture.
2/11/21 decisions on sound, sound effects, lighting, etc.  Because we will not be doing acting in our film we had to make other decisions for the dialogue in our film and other sound effects and we also had to find ways in which the different effects would complement each other. we decided we would do drawings and do different voice-overs like animations or stop-motion animations. according to, Laughman, Ethan. “The Voiceover and Its Use in Film.”  Ctlsites.uga.edu , Bavotasan.com, ctlsites.uga.edu/nvgf/ethans article/#:~:text=The%20voice%20over%20is%20a,the%20mind%20of%20a%20character. , The  voice-over  is a  film  technique that is used in virtually every  film  genre. Filmmakers use  voice-overs  to provide quick demonstration, tell stories, narrate, and provide a deep look into the mind of a character. films use different types of voiceovers, in our film we will be using a narrative voice-overs at the beginning, and the characters voices and dialogue for the duration of the film.
2/13/21 Casting Considerations and Choices Most films have a wide variety of members filming crew producers editors and the most important members are the cast. without the cast a film would be basically just a montage of blank backgrounds. In this film we have contemplated multiple people we knew for our film, our siblings, friends and family members. because we didn't want to waste too much time contemplating between people to actin our film we decided to use drawings. the drawings will take a lot of time, especially with the fact that we are trying to make them as professional as possible. according to,  anonymous. “Drawn on Film Animation.” Webneel.com , Drawn on Film, webneel.com/drawn-on-film-animation. ,  Drawn on film animation technique needs a lot of talent and exact precision, since there is no going back to alter it, you will end up doing the whole animation sequence right from the beginning. You don’t have to worry about straight lines, most of the animation sequence
2/5/21 since we have already finished most of the preliminary preparations for the film we decided that maybe if we had nothing else to do we would just get started with our filming in the week of 2/8/21 and with the layout of our shots on the storyboard the most difficult part of our filming process will be editing. in order for us to make our film, we will not necessarily need a lot of sophisticated technology only the basic stuff, such as a laptop a camera (phone camera), and a few software for editing, such as Filmora editing software. according to,  Elva. “5 Best Free Video Editing Software for YouTube [2021 Update].” Iskysoft.com , Iskysoft, www.iskysoft.com/video-editing/free-video-editing-software-for-youtube.html?gclid=CjwKCAiA9vOABhBfEiwATCi7GJDZmY7Vox0f7Fd0XtJe1SIsv_uwjg4O2Abnh8h131kzwiLJNMnLCRoCAwQQAvD_BwE. , a blog is written to review editing software Filmore's editing software is very exceptional and does a very good job editing videos.
2/4/21 location/ actors and setting I was initially contemplating whether or not the location should be a place familiar to me or maybe somewhere else close by that fits the specific profile but with the busy schedule of my parents and the level of difficulty this would burden on the members of my group and I for the film. so after discussion with the members of my group we decided we would do the filming at school and home.  I was also revising my notes on decor and setting from last semester and I wanted to input some of the knowledge I learned from last quarter. but as difficult as it may be I will put my all into this and make it as professional as possible. according to,  anonymous. “Studio vs Location Filming.” Epic Studios Broadcasting , Epic Studios, 2019, epic-tv.com/broadcast/blog/studio-vs-location-filming/#:~:text=Simply%2C%20location%20filming%20means%20that,of%20film%20and%20television%20content. ,  Simply, location filming means that you are shooting in the actual sett

2/3/21 i was having a bit of difficulty completing my storyboard and to be honest, I couldn't even start because of conflicts of interests with the people in my group but we resolved it and started by making a PowerPoint with a shot by shot descriptions and images https://browardcountyschools-my.sharepoint.com/:p:/r/personal/0619063637_my_browardschools_com/_layouts/15/Doc.aspx?sourcedoc=%7B4904C169-DA6B-42E3-BECB-AB18B68672F5%7D&file=Presentation6.pptx&wdOrigin=OFFICECOM-WEB.MAIN.MRU&ct=1612582012781&action=edit&mobileredirect=true. we then used the shot by shot comparison to create an actual storyboard of the shots using storyboardthat.com.      I had to do a lot of improvising to get this assignment done but the challenges made me more exuberated and I just had to make it as close to perfect as possible.
